Alex & Ben – September 1st 2013

Ahhhhh, words can’t describe truly how much fun I had at this wedding!

I had a amazing time being a part of their beautiful celebration, hanging out with all their friends and family and photographing this truly original wedding. I went to school with Alex in Midland a million years ago (realistically 10-11 years) and was delighted when she asked me to meet and chat about her wedding. Every single detail she described throughout the months made it nearly impossible not to drool at every single email or phone call. Their day literally sounded like it would be a photographers dream, although I was still taken aback when I finally saw everything put together. The AMAZING floating barge, where the reception took place and all the tiniest of details just made for an incredible intimate and romantic day. I seriously loved every single minute of it! (Especially the ego-stroking from everyone about the engagement photos, which are some of my favourites!).

Anyways, here’s a little preview from the day, I’m stoked to edit these and go wild, there’s nothing better than when a client gives you free range to do what you do best 🙂
